Elemental Chiropractic & Wellness welcomes you to our FAMILY! Thank you for trusting us with your health.

Chiropractic is based on the science which concerns itself with the relationship between structures (primarily the spine) and function (primarily of the nervous system) and how this relationship can affect the restoration and preservation of health.

Adjustments are made by chiropractors to correct or reduce spinal and extremity joint subluxations. Vertebral subluxation is a disturbance to the nervous system and is a condition where one or more vertebra in the spine is misaligned and/or does not move properly causing interference and/or irritation to the nervous system. The primary goal in chiropractic care is the removal and/or reduction of nerve interference caused by vertebral subluxation.

A chiropractic examination will be performed which may include spinal and physical
examination, orthopedic and neurological testing, palpation, specialized instrumentation,
radiological examination (x-rays), and laboratory testing.

The chiropractic adjustment is the application of a precise movement and/or force into the spine to reduce or correct vertebral subluxation(s). There are several different methods or techniques by which the chiropractic adjustment is delivered but are typically delivered by hand. Some may require the use of an instrument or other specialized equipment. In addition, physiotherapy or rehabilitative procedures may be included in the management protocol. Among other things, chiropractic care may reduce pain, increase mobility, and improve quality of life.

Meet Dr. Mitchell Crema

Dr. Mitch is from New Hampton, a small town nestled in the heart of northeast Iowa. Inspired by a football injury to his neck during his formative years, he discovered the transformative power of chiropractic care. Witnessing firsthand its ability to alleviate not only physical discomfort but also mitigate headaches, asthma, allergies and digestive troubles, he started his journey to becoming a Chiropractor.

Growing up, Dr. Mitch was a dedicated athlete, engaging in wrestling, football, track and baseball, where his passion for physical wellness began. As he pursued higher education, he found himself drawn to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa – the birthplace of Chiropractic, where he not only pursued academic excellence but also found his love for rugby.

Fueled by his unwavering dedication to family wellness, Dr. Mitch is on a mission to inspire individuals to embrace healthy living. Guided by the timeless wisdom of BJ Palmer, whose words resonate deeply with him—”the preservation of health is easier than the cure for disease”—he endeavors to empower communities to prioritize their well-being. Being proactive in their health rather than reactive.

Dr. Mitch has done extensive training in a variety of chiropractic techniques, enabling him to provide comprehensive care for a wide range of people. Notably, he is certified in the Webster’s technique for pregnancy, endorsed by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). He is well trained in Blair Upper Cervical Technique, a gentle and precise technique specific to the upper bones of the neck. Additionally, Dr. Mitch is well versed in Gonstead, Thompson, Toggle, Diversified, Activator, and Sacral Occipital Technique, ensuring that he can effectively address the unique needs of each patient.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Mitch finds solace and joy in the great outdoors—hunting, fishing, and intramural sports. He loves embarking on road trips with his wife and son. Whether exploring nature’s wonders or fostering connections within his community, he remains committed to promoting holistic health and wellness, spreading hope and positivity wherever he goes.
